Welcome! I’m Emily.
I’m a Color and Trim Designer at Volkswagen Group of America’s Design Center California. I studied Interior Design at Michigan State University and earned my MFA in Color and Material Design from the College for Creative Studies.
Within CMF design, I’m particularly passionate about trend research and forecasting, sustainable material solutions, and color development. My material experience spans glass-filled nylons and polymers to leather and synthetic alternatives, with a strong focus on advanced development and bio-based innovations.
