Encounter

Encounter establishes methodical reoccurring color patterning systems through digital fabrication and autonomous visualization that aims to manipulate color through materiality. A colors’ structural and visual place is studied in order to influence perception and create patterning. Through the creation and curation of linguistic conditions that coincide with technical machinery, the balance of highly crafted sequencing and chance is achieved;

Further provoking the questions: How do we learn about color? And more specifically, how does the way in which we experience color give rise to the theories used to apply and manipulate it?
