Grand Haven State Park Beach House
Overview
The renovation of the Grand Haven State Park Beach House will provide an interactive facility that promotes healthy relationships between the site and community. A flexible environment will be established through a functional and universally accessible design. The design will accommodate the various needs of local and visiting users, by enhancing the experience to create meaningful memories. Safety and sustainability features will be employed in the design to reflect the natural and cultural values of the surrounding area. A focus on clarity and inclusiveness creates a fluid design for the reflection of identity for users.

Site Analysis
The Grand Haven State Park Beach House is located at 1030 S Harbor Dr. Grand Haven, MI. Grand Haven is a Lake Michigan coastal town, that receives approximately 2 million visitors every year. The existing beach house is a two story brick structure, with Lake Michigan to the west, parking and sand dunes to the East.
